The Art Museum of Southeast Texas is pleased to present Samantha Harrison: Land and Light as its Fall 2026 Community Art exhibition.
Harrison is a self-taught painter and photographer. Her work is shaped by a love of travel and the natural world. Inspired by Georgia
O’Keeffe, Ansel Adams, and Bauhaus design, she creates work based on places both
real and imagined. This exhibition is a collection of paintings and photographs ranging in artworks with subtle details of the natural world to wide-open landscapes.

Inspired by the timeless elegance of a garden party, Heirloom Reverie will celebrate the people, stories, and traditions that have helped shape the Beaumont community. This year’s Gala honors the enduring legacy of the Phelan Family and beloved local artists Amy and Albert Faggard.
The 2026 Anniversary Gala: Heirloom Reverie will take place Thursday, September 24, from 6:30–10:30 p.m. at the Downtown Event Centre.
